Leigh joined Brights in 2019 after having qualified as a solicitor and obtaining a masters degree in law. She is now head of the Private Client team and an Associate Director at Brights. She is an associate member of The Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners, having obtained a distinction in Will Preparation.
Leigh advises individuals, business owners, landowners and their families on all Private Client matters including wills, inheritance tax advice, and succession planning to ensure assets are passed down in the most tax efficient manner. Leigh has experience in different family circumstances and advises her clients to ensure their wishes take effect in the manner intended, including advising on trusts.
Leigh is experienced in probate administration and intestacy, including complex estates, inheritance tax issues and deeds of variation.
Leigh is a dementia friend and she advises on powers of attorney, Court of Protection applications, and issues of capacity. She can also help clients make provisions for vulnerable and disabled beneficiaries.
