Guy Thompson

Dr Guy Thompson is 20 years qualified.  He specialises in all aspects of Commercial Property including site acquisition and plot sales for developers and retail units for local, national and international clients including household names.  Guy is experienced in complex acquisitions off plan, including major retail and restaurant fit outs etc. Guy’s work spans both the contentious and non-contentious areas of practice.

Guy qualified in the City at a magic circle firm, having first pursued a career in Botany commencing at Bristol University, gaining his PhD from Cambridge University and progressing to the Smithsonian Institute and NASA as a biologist in North America.

Guy’s first years after qualification into the law were spent in London acting for West End property investors buying buildings for both commercial and residential and development use.

Guy’s practice areas include A1 retail and A3 and A5 food outlets and office users, together with a significant expertise in development work and plot sales.  Amongst others, Guy acts for freight forwarders, car dealers, hoteliers and land buyers and investors.

Guy developed numerous long term client relationships and professional contacts including Property Agents, Architects, Fit Out Contractors, Licencing Specialists, Building Surveyors, Planning Consultants and Banks whom he can involve when needed in a transaction to achieve a client’s objectives.
